As advised in my mail on 25th August, I was getting a couple of rounds of games out the way to let the league table take some shape. I have now done the draw for the Fantasy League Cup. The draw was seeded based on league placings, as at 5th September. Straight forward, 1st into Group A, 2nd into Group B, etc. This has resulted in 6 groups of 7 teams and 2 groups of 6 teams. Each team will play each other twice. The full draw and fixtures can be viewed here. You will go head to head, as per the fixtures and your score that weekend will determine your score against your opponent. The winner will receive £75, with the runner-up getting £25. The Knockout competition will kick in in the New Year, administered by the Premier League website.
I had previously said the competition would start on fixtures over the weekend of 17th September, but I had miscalculated the number of rounds needed – so it will now start this coming weekend – 10th September. Get looking at your transfer options!
