Group A
It looks like its between Shane Mageean, Melvin Pool and Jack Lockley to qualify as they are all on 21 points. Melvin has played a game more than the other two but they play each other in the last round of games. Philip Haigh sits 6 points behind and could draw level on points if he wins his last two games – although with the goal difference it looks like he could only really overhaul Jack, who he plays next!
Group B
Ant Donafee’s win over Steve Smith confirms his qualification. Emma Carr currently sits in 2nd, with 2 games to play. Steve Smith, Christopher Grierson and Reece Turner sit 3 points behind Emma, although Christopher only has one game left to play and is on a minus goal difference, so it looks like its between Emma, Steve and Reece for the other qualification spot.Emma plays Steve next and then Steve faces Reece in his last game so it’s very much in Steve’s hands!
Group C
Peter Donnelly has qualified and his superior goal difference suggests he will finish as group winner. James Ledger is 2nd on 19 points, with Ewan White on 18 and Lewis Donnelly on 15. James, Ewan and Lewis each have two games to play – Ewan plays Lewis in the next round. A special mention for Jono Matthews who finally won a game!
Group D
Martyn Dring and Lucas Wynne-James both sit on 21 points. Michael Grierson is on 15 points and is the only manager who can catch either Martyn or Lucas but he needs to overturn a goal difference of at least 100 so it does look like this group is effectively done!
Group E
Liam Donafee had already qualified. He still sits 6 points clear of 2nd placed Gisela Mowles, with 2 games to play. Ben Donafee is the only manager who can challenge Gisela – he is 2 points behind, with just 1 game to play. Ben has to win the Donafee derby in the next round of games and hope Gisela loses the last two!
Group F
This group is done! Greg Tarka is top on 27 points, with Peter Wooldridge 2nd on 24 points. Neither of them can be caught – only thing now is who finishes top. Greg has pole position put Peter can level on points with the right results and has a better goal difference.
Group G
No games were played in this round of games. Each manager has 2 games left to play. Jed Donafee is top on 18 points – Gary Sharp and Daniel Chaderton are level on 13 points with David Hegarty on 12 points. Chris Mowles is on 9 points and if he wins his last two games and other results go his way, he could even snatch the 2nd spot.
Group H
Emma Bissett and Graeme Tinker both sit on 15 points. Chris Newman is just 3 points behind on 12, with Dan Worthington on 11. Quite a few games against each other in the final 2 rounds of games so lots of different permutations possible here!
