As we return from the international break, 22 players are still standing for Round 9. Surprisingly, at this stage, all teams are still available for selection – four different teams have been picked this week. The old adage of “form book goes out of the window” stood firm as no-one touched the Merseyside derby (I know at least one Red and one Blue who could have picked Liverpool this week!!).
In the 3pm games, Brentford play Burnley at the Gtech Community stadium – Ross
Milton has picked the Bees. Newcastle take on Crystal Palace at St James’ Park –
Albert Au, Andrew Emmett and Ralph Dealing have picked the Magpies to beat the
Eagles. Nottingham Forest host Luton at the City Ground – 15 players have picked
Forest.
On Sunday, in the early game, Sheffield United welcome Manchester United to
Bramhall Lane – John Roberts, Lauren Haigh and Michael Thomas have picked the
Mancs.
This set of selections means that Ross Milton has the potential to take the pot
in this round should results go his way!
I am away in Spain for a long weekend from next Thursday, so an early heads up –
deadline for Round 10 is
noon
on
