We are down to just 10 players after only 3 rounds! Four different teams have been picked in this midweek round.
On Tuesday night, Newcastle host Everton at St James’ Park – Kevin Murphy, Paul
Davies, Paul Giles, Pauline Jackson and Tony Ainsworth are hoping that Newcastle
can ensure Everton’s winless streak continues.
On Wednesday night, Arsenal will relish the visit of Luton Town to the Emirates
– Olly Woodward was the only player left who could pick the Gunners and he has
opted for them here. Manchester City take on Aston Villa at the Etihad – Gary
Nelson, Gerry Doherty and Tony Raybould have all gone for a City win (but I
don’t think two of them will be too disappointed if they go out!).
Finally, on Thursday night, Liverpool welcome Sheffield United to Anfield –
David Hayhoe is hoping for a win for the league leaders.
