44 players are still standing for Round 3. Five different teams have been picked in this round – nobody could pick Chelsea, Manchester United, Newcastle or Tottenham due to the FA Cup semi-finals.
On Saturday afternoon, in the 3pm games, there is a relegation battle as
Sheffield United take on Burnley at Bramhall Lane – Lewis Reilly and Melvin Pool
have picked the Blades in this one. In the Saturday evening game, Arsenal will
be looking to bounce back from last week’s defeat as they head to Molineux to
play Wolves – eight players have picked the Gunners. No entry was received from
Kenny Rogers so he gets Arsenal by default.
On Sunday afternoon, Aston Villa face Bournemouth at Villa Park – twenty-five
players are hoping for a Villa win. In the later game, Fulham welcome Liverpool
to Craven Cottage – seven players are hoping that the Reds can get the wheels
back on their title challenge.
Finally, on Thursday, Manchester City host Brighton at the Etihad – Dave
Phillips has picked City.
