37 players are still standing for Round 5. Somewhat surprisingly (well, to me anyway!), nine different teams have been picked in this round – only the Brentford v Fulham game does not feature.
We kick off with a Friday night game this week as Luton entertain Everton at
Kenilworth Road – Neil Taggart is hoping for a 4th consecutive win for the
Blues.
On Saturday afternoon, in the lunchtime game, Arsenal take on Bournemouth at the
Emirates – 20 players have picked the Gunners. In the 3pm games, Brighton
welcome Aston Villa to the Amex – Gary Storer is hoping Villa continue their
push for a top 4 finish. No entry was received from Peter Donnelly so he gets
Villa as his default selection. Burnley take on Newcastle at Turfmoor – Andrew
Wilkinson and Olly Woodward have picked the Magpies. Sheffield United face
Nottingham Forest at Bramhall Lane – Dan Milton, Jack Horsler and Pauline
Jackson have picked Forest to put the final nail in the Blades’ coffin. In the
evening game, Manchester City play Wolves at the Etihad – Josh Wignall has
picked City.
On Sunday, a London derby sees Chelsea host West Ham at Stamford Bridge – Joey
O’Brien, Tony Raybould and Tony Smith have gone for the Blues. In the later
game, Liverpool play Tottenham at Anfield – Jackie Milton, Kenny Rogers and
Steve Smith have picked the Reds.
Finally, on Monday night, Crystal Palace welcome Manchester United to Selhurst
Park – Ewan White has picked the Eagles here.
Ewan White, Neil Taggart and Josh Wignall each have a chance to win the pot
outright – although that would take one hell of a lot of exceptional results!!
