The final of the League Cup competition took place over the weekend of 27/28 April.
It was contested between Paul Maiden and Shaun McGee and finished 8-8.
The replay took place over the weekend 4/5 May. Both Paul and Shaun had predicted wins for Manchester City and Chelsea. Paul had also predicted a win for Liverpool, giving him 6 points. However, Shaun also forecast wins for Newcastle and Brighton giving him 8 points and the win. Conrgratulations and £75 to Shaun – commisserations and £25 to Paul. Prizes to be paid out at the end of the season.
