29 players are still standing for Round 9. Seven
different teams have been picked in this round – no-one could
pick Manchester City. Things could start to get interesting with such a diverse
range of teams – 4 players have a chance of winning the pot outright in this
round!
On Saturday, in the 3pm games, Crystal Palace face
West Ham at Selhurst Park – Andy Burns, Andrew Wilkinson and Gemma Jackson have
picked the Eagles. Fulham welcome Leicester City to Craven Cottage – 18 players
have picked the Cottagers. Southampton have Premier League football back at St
Mary’s as they host Nottingham Forest – Josh Wignall is hoping for a Forest win.
Tottenham welcome Everton to the Tottenham stadium – Olly Woodward, Pauline
Jackson and Sandra Emmett were the only players left who could pick Spurs and
they have played that card here.
On Sunday, in the 2pm games, Bournemouth host
Newcastle at the Vitality Stadium – Neil Metcalf was the only player left who
could pick the Magpies and he has gone for them. Wolves play Chelsea at Molineux
– Kevin Robinson has picked the Londoners. In the final game of the weekend,
Liverpool face Brentford at Anfield – Joey O’Brien and Lisa Mensah have picked
the Reds.
