On Saturday, in the 3pm games, Bournemouth host Sheffield United at the Vitality Stadium – Hayley Beaton, Kenny Rogers and Robin Horsler have all picked the Cherries to beat the bottom of the table club! A reminder that should Sheffield United cause an upset of any sort then Rule 12 would be invoked – “Should less than five participants remain standing and all are eliminated in the same week then the prize pot will be equally shared among them.“.

Game 3 of this season is near complete – we are down to the last 4 players in that game now. One of Gemma Jackson, Hayley Beaton, Kenny Rogers and Robin Horsler will be taking (or sharing) the £540 pot!! That will be £1675 paid out in prize money this season.
It’s now time to look ahead and start Game 4! I will be kicking this new game off this coming weekend, 2nd March. There are 12 rounds of games left in the Premier League season – two of them will be impacted by FA cup quarter and semi finals, so it could end up being just 10 rounds, so this could be the last game of the season!!
Most of you should know the rules by now – but for those that haven’t played before you pay £5 entry fee and have to pick a team that you think will win their game in a given round of games – if they win, you progress to the next round (lose or draw and you are out!). You can’t pick the same team more than once – the last man standing takes the prize pot. A full set of rules can be viewed here, previous games and winners can be viewed here.
Deadline for entering this new game is Friday 1st March at 7pm. Send your entry fee across and drop me an email with your pick for Round 1 before the deadline (details at the foot of this mail). Any queries, drop me a message. First 4 rounds of fixtures are below – you can plan ahead a bit more by checking the Premier League fixtures page. Feel free to share with anyone you think might be interested – more entries = a bigger pot!

We were down to just the last 6 players for Round 7. Three different teams were picked in this round – nobody could pick Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Luton Town, Manchester City and Tottenham.
On Saturday, in the 3pm games, Crystal Palace welcomed Burnley to Selhurst Park
– Robin Horsler was hoping for a new manager bounce for the Eagles and he got it
with a 3-0 win. Manchester United faced Fulham at Old Trafford – Adele Ward and
Damian Walsh had picked United but a 2-1 defeat saw them exit and mean that this
game will now be won or shared.
On Sunday, Wolves took on bottom of the table Sheffield United at Molineux –
Gemma Jackson, Hayley Beaton and Kenny Rogers had picked Wolves. Robin had the
champagne on ice but a 1-0 win to Wolves means it went back in the fridge!
