Quite a few scores changed with Fulham and Chelsea players getting points as well as some teams having substitutions kicking in. However, only two results were reversed from what was published last week – sorry Phil and Nick!

The 11th round of games took place on the New Year games (2nd-5th January). Results, fixtures and tables can be viewed here. A break now before the competition resumes after the FA Cup, on 14th January. Those in Groups A to F have 2 or 3 games left to play, Groups G and H have just 2 left.
Some very close groups – most have 3/4 players that can still qualify (and in some cases they have to play each other!). Liam Donafee in Group E and Greg Tarka in Group F are the only managers confirmed as qualified so far – a few more should join them after the next round of games.

FA Cup 3rd Round this week so deadline for Round 8 is Friday 13th January at noon.

31 players are still standing after the Boxing Day games. Two sets of fixtures coming up over the New Year period – Round 6 is the games from today (30th) through to New Years Day. Round 7 starts on 2nd January – through to the 5th. Picks for this game are at the foot of the mail or can be viewed here in the full update.
Two of the games involved in the picks for Round 6 are the two games on NYD. I am out with the family on NYD (we will play our traditional game of footy followed by a trip to the boozer) so I won’t be able to send an update after Round 6 until 2nd – when Round 7 starts! So, for those of you still standing, the deadline for Round 7 will be 3pm on Monday 2nd January. Fixtures are below for Round 7 – feel free to drop me your pick in advance instead of waiting for the Round 6 results update!

The return of the Premier League also saw the 9th Round of games in the Fantasy League Cup competition. This round of games only featured Groups A to F.
It was a high scoring round – the average score from the 54 teams was 82.6. Gisela Mowles was the highest scorer with 117 – but she had a free week! Group E featured a 103-103 draw – unlucky to them two managers! Results and updated tables can be viewed here.
Next round of games is the fixtures across 30th December to 1st January and will feature all groups.
